Dell has launched Dell Inspiron Mini 10 lately. From its name, I’m sure you know why it is named Inspiron Mini 10. Inspiron Mini 10 is a10-inch netbook from Dell which is extremely light in weight with a weight of mere 1.2 kg.

This mini netbook from Dell is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and a hard drive of 160 GB capacity. Powered by a 1.33 GHz Atom Z520 processor, this Inspiron Mini 10 also features an SDHC/MMC flash card slot, and an HDMI output.

Since Dell still insists that netbooks are only being used for email and web browsing, the Mini 10 supports Microsoft’s Works 9.0 but without Microsoft Word. Another thing that is quite disappointing is the battery. Dell has given it only a 3-cell battery instead of a 6-cell unit as a standard, but you don’t need to worry; a 6-cell battery is available for an extra £40. It’s better for you to prefer the 6-cell option so you can have at around 5-6 hours of battery life.
However, if you care enough with the appearance of your stuff, well, you’ll be happy to read this: The Mini 10 is a stylish unit that will be available in various colors. The available colors are black, white, blue, red, green, pink and some other patterned options.

It measures only 10.3 x 6.56 x 0.99 inches and weighs 2.45 pounds. Although it has a mini size, the keyboard is 92 percent of the size of a standard laptop.

Powered by Intel Atom N270 processor, this mini 1150NR is equipped with 80GB hard disk drive (HDD) and 1GB of RAM. Further, the HP mini is pre-installed with windows XP. It also includes the following software: Symantec Norton Internet Security 2009, Microsoft Works, Skype, MSN live messenger, and AOL instant messenger.

Other interesting features of this mini HP 1150 NR are the built-in HP mini webcam, the built-in speakers, SD/MMC memory card reader, 3-cell battery, stylish HP imprint finish, and the integrated 54g Wi-Fi networking. It already includes the built-in AT&T 3G wireless capabilities too.

However, because of its mini size, HP mini 1150NR doesn’t have an integrated optical drive, but there are optional CD/DVD read/write drives which can be connected to it via one of the three USB ports, so you will still be able to burn movies, create your own music mixes and so on.

In short, this mini HP 1150NR is a perfect netbook for you who need a quick and easy access to online resources and digital entertainment anytime anywhere.
