Have you ever felt confused reading a description of a personal computer especially when it comes to the terms used to describe the computer? Well, you don’t need to worry about it since many people also experienced it, especially if they are not a computer programmer, etc. or if it’s their first time reading and learning about computer. However, you still need to understand that terms, especially if you want to buy a pc, so that you can get a pc which suits your needs best.

There are two big groups of terms used to describe a computer. First are the terms which describes the performance of a computer, such as: RAM, hard drive, processor, Operating System (OS), etc. You can read the list of the terms here. Second are the terms which describes the appearance of a computer, such as: screen, LCD, port, keypad and so on. You can read the list of the terms in the second group here. It is possible that the terms from the two different groups are overlapping since they are complete each other.

There are so many options of PC available in the market, not to mention the brand. So we need to be careful and selective to find the best one for us. First step to do is to know and understand the terms related to computer. The next step is buying the computer, isn’t it? Well, have a nice time!!
